How long does it take to apply lash extensions?

Applying a full set of lash extensions takes from 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours 30 minutes. The time varies depending on the amount of coverage and the level of experience of your lash technician.

How do I prepare for my lash extensions appointment?

Come to your appointment without wearing any eye makeup (no mascara, eyeliner or shadow).  If you normally wear contacts, bring your case and glasses.  For your first appointment, please arrive 10-15 minutes early to complete the necessary paperwork and enjoy our Oasis Bar. 

Will your natural lashes get harmed or damaged by lash extensions?

When applied properly, lash extensions are safe and won’t harm the health of your natural lashes.

You should not rub your eyes or tug or pull on the extensions because this can cause lash loss and even damage to your natural lashes.

After your Facial:

Makeup: You should wait for 30 to 60 minutes after your facial before applying cosmetics, to allow your skin to cool, or you may clog your pores with minerals from your makeup.

Possible Post Breakouts: When doing a lot of extractions to clear out acne, sometimes not all of the lodged oil will come out and because we don't force anything that doesn't want to come out, some purging can occur a day or two after a facial as the pore does its own self-cleaning. But once those heal up, the pores should be much clearer to prevent future breakouts. Your skin is just “purging”: a not-so-glamorous term for the exacerbation and expulsion of clogged pores and pimples that sometimes accompanies invasive skincare treatments like extractions. In another week or two your skin will look better than ever!

What are LASH Lifts?

Lash Lifting is a natural enhancement of eyelashes that makes them curl up so they are more noticeable without the use of mascara or extensions. Lashes are wrapped around a rod and secured with a medical-safe glue, and then a special solution that does NOT contain keratin/formaldehyde or peroxide (but does have aloe and glycerin to soothe), is applied to reform the hair bonds so they curl up.

How long should it last?

A lash lift typically lasts about 6-8 weeks, depending on hair growth cycles. Hair follicles grow out at different times, so maintenance is done as needed for each individual.

Can mascara be applied?

Yes, 48 hours after having the process mascara can be applied, as long as it is oil-free.  All products used on eyes after the service should be water-based and oil-free, so check labels.

Common Teeth Whitening Questions 

Q.) How long does the teeth whitening process take from start to finish?

 A.) The in-office teeth whitening treatment process takes a minimum of about an hour from start to finish to do a single treatment.  

Q.) What will I experience during this procedure?

A.) You may feel a slight tingling or bubbling against your teeth for the first few minutes. This is normal and is the sign that the gel is producing the oxygen that does the work of bleaching. Please note we will use a pre-whitening swab at the start of your service. The pre whitening swab is a detergent to remove surface stains in the enamel prior to whitening to optimize results and at the same time it hydrates the enamel prior to the whitening to minimize sensitivity on the teeth after whitening.

Q.) What kind of results can I expect from the process?

A.) Everyone’s teeth are different, thus, results will vary. That being said, most people will experience a difference of 5-8 shades whiter with a 60-minute treatment.

Q.) What kind of gels do you have?

A.) We utilize a 24 Karat Gold gel which consists of 0.006 CT of real 24 K. Gold infused, light activated particles and 35% hydrogen peroxide. You can also choose our 1K Clear gel which consists of 16% hydrogen peroxide.
